Sudan is torn apart by a terrible civil war. Horrific human rights violations are taking place, causing great suffering among the civilian population. Millions of people are fleeing. But the international community is looking the other way. Together with the Sudanese community in Belgium and the Ghent-based organizations Buren van de Abdij and De Centrale, Amnesty is organizing an afternoon full of testimonies, context, and music. Two Sudanese human rights defenders, a singer, and an Amnesty researcher will share insights, stories, and hope.
